Paintings in the
Impressionist
Way

A remarkable body of original paintings executed in the tradition of the great French and English Impressionists — suffused with light, atmosphere, and the particular beauty of the natural world as it appeared to the artist's eye.

Landscapes, gardens, seascapes, and figure studies, rendered with that luminous quality of paint that distinguished the finest works of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Of Light & Memory

"Colours of Spring"

These works emerge from a sustained engagement with the natural world — its light, its seasonal transformations, its capacity to hold the trace of memory. Painting in the Impressionist tradition, each canvas seeks to capture sensation rather than merely document: the particular quality of morning in the Himalayas, the insistent colour of a Normandy beach, the quiet dignity of a garden at the close of day.

The works draw from a lifelong practice of looking — across England, France, India, Australia, and the Holy Land — always in pursuit of that moment when light transforms the ordinary into the luminous.
